Hyderabad boy Prithvi Raj topped IIT this year, we must all be proud to be hyderabadis, But one sad thing is no one from our near and dear could not make it into IIT as far as i know at least for the last 50-60 yrs, except one from my mother's side family My Uncle's Son Subrahymanyam (nick name BABU),  some of you might know him, he made it into IIT (Powai,Bombay around 1990's) for a PHD programme in Inorganic chemistry for a research project on cancer cells. But later he dropped out due to a clash with his professor actually the guide who is funding the project.

All the kids of these generation are getting marks in 96-99 % in their regular classes but not able to even pass the screening test in these big exams, parents have to think abt this...On this note,  I congratulate Mohana (Vedavathi's daughter) for getting 565/600 in 10th class, We will all be really happy if you could make into IIT, if Math is your area of interest, and Nikky this also applies for you..
